Congress Clinical Engagements
A pharmaceutical client conducting phase 2 studies in gastroenterology sought to meet with investigators and KOLs at the annual Digestive Disease Week (DDW), the largest gastroenterology congress in the US. To achieve this, the company partnered with Clinical Conversations for their expertise in planning and executing successful Executive Encounters.
Clinical Conversations began by conducting a global KOL audit to identify and select the most ideal KOLs for the client to meet with. Over 50 meetings were arranged and coordinated by Clinical Conversations during the congress. To ensure the success of these meetings, Clinical Conversations assisted in the planning of meeting objectives and key discussion points.
In addition to coordinating the meetings themselves, Clinical Conversations also handled logistical details such as booking meeting spaces, arranging ground transportation, and organizing lunch and dinner meetings at appropriate venues in South Loop, Chicago.
As a final deliverable, the client received comprehensive meeting minutes and next steps to continue engaging with their investigators and KOLs beyond the congress. With the assistance of Clinical Conversations, the client was able to successfully connect with the right individuals and make valuable progress in their clinical development efforts.
